Being called bro makes up for the busy shop and hastily prepared sandwich
The Tapestry

Trial of Arms
The Chronicle
Embracing a popular establishment on a random Wednesday in the evening was still met with a long queue that snaked out the door. Being 10th in line meant committing to a wait at least that long in minutes and in this instance the wait worth worth it, but just barely.
When passing the internal threshold, the aroma of the shop was overpowering and mouths began to water in anticipation. Upon reaching the counter, I recall feeling rushed due to another 10 people on my heels. I was able to point to the kebab I wished to devour and convey enough in English to get what I wanted. The coveted ‘what do you want, bro’ and 'thank you bro’ hit hard being alone in this strange but beautiful land. After waiting a few minutes and leaving with a smile on my face, I trekked around the corner to feast.
The first thing I noticed was the bread upon unveiling the sandwich. A beautiful color with heft that seemed to cause ratio problems with each bite due to the sheer depth of bread. Tasty bread, but somewhat flavorless without the other ingredients. One hand placed upon the top of the sandwich, I began to press to make the juices flow throughout the bread for more flavor. This was a wise decision. The sauce was the ideal volume to where each bite had some and not too little or too much. The tender chicken had good flavor that again mixed well with the other ingredients. The veggies were nothing special, just a means to fill the white space in the sandwich.
Overall, the shop experience was memorable, the sandwich was tasty and well-crafted despite the haste. There aren’t many competitors in Wurzburg, and this establishment was a bit far from the main area. However, if I stayed in this area again I would likely quest here again with similar expectations.
